On the occasion of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Olympic Games, the Timau Great War Museum is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the great Olympic athletes from Paluzza who brought the name of Carnia to the highest podium: Giorgio and Manuela Di Centa.
A story of tenacity and resilience, shaped by commitment, sacrifice, and passion, intertwined with the memory and identity of these mountains. The museum also pays tribute to the extraordinary Carnic Porters (Portatrici Carniche), symbols of strength and dedication, guardians of a history that continues to inspire.
